Manitowoc hosted a meeting for Latin America?s tower crane dealers in Panama to examine crane market opportunities and strategise over the best ways to address the region?s lifting challenges. Approximately 30 representatives from every Potain dealer in Latin America attended the event, which will now become an annual gathering.

Comansa CM to launch its first luffing-jib crane at bauma China

The first luffing-jib tower crane ever produced by Comansa CM will be showcased at the bauma China trade show to be held in Shanghai from November 22-25. This new model will be the first of a new series of luffing-jib tower cranes, named CML Series.

Jaromin adds Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 mobile crane

Autokran-Dienst Jaromin GmbH took delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 mobile crane in September. The 5-axle 250-tonne mobile crane adds to the Oberhausen-based company's crane fleet, extending it upwards. Previously a Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 was the largest crane in the fleet.

Manitowoc to launch Potain MCR 295 luffing jib crane at bauma China

Manitowoc will use bauma China 2016 to introduce a new Potain luffing jib crane for the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Latin American markets. The Potain MCR 295 will be the largest luffing jib crane from the Manitowoc manufacturing facility in Zhangjiagang, China.

Liebherr presents new range of rough-terrain cranes

Liebherr has extended its mobile crane product range with an additional series of rough-terrain cranes in the 90-tonne (100 USt) and 100-tonne (110 USt) classes. The Liebherr rough-terrain cranes LRT 1090-2.1 and LRT 1100-2.1 will be unveiled to the public at the Conexpo construction machinery trade show in Las Vegas in March 2017. They feature high performance, safety and comfort.

Manitowoc Cranes exhibits breakthroughs at JDL Med 2016

Manitowoc Cranes had a strong showing at the JDL Med 2016, featuring a range of Grove cranes and the Potain Hup 32-27. The event was held October 12-14 in Marseille, France, and saw more than 15,000 visitors to view the latest advancements from across the lifting, handling, elevation, transportation and packaging industries.
