Implementation of PRL at KAPP-3

The seventh ring of Kakrapar Atomic Power Project-3 (KAPP) was successfully installed and is among the largest (dimensionally) engineered structures to have been lifted and placed in such a manner in India.The 700 MWe Indian pressurised heavy-water reactors (PHWRs) that are being constructed at the Kakrapar Atomic Power Project (KAPP) 3 and 4, and RAPP 7 and 8 have a number of firsts design features towards enhancement of safety.
