The difference from last bC India, is that two years back, the new government in place had ambitious plans to develop the road sector. Now the plans are being executed well, and due to this there is an increase in demand for equipment.

The market in India for construction equipment is ahead of its position two years, when the last bC India took place. The most active sector of the industry is road building, and Volvo CE will be focused on this industry, among others, in our display at the show. Outside road building, there is also growing interest in mining equipment and materials supply for the construction sector.
Bauma is an important platform for the industry
Basis various industry reports, In FY16, the disbursement in the construction equipment financing (CEF) industry was Rs 243 billion, down about 5 per cent from Rs 255 billion in FY15. However, In FY17, the CEF industry is expected to have a turnaround and grow about +5 per cent (from -5 per cent in FY 16) and grow about 15 per cent in FY18.
SDLG to Launch Wheel Loader, Motor Grader
