VECV to set up new production facility
The joint venture has grown from strength to strength over the years to put VECV in a very good position with an yearly average growth of over 18 per cent in last ten years with a turnover of Rs 102 billion in 2017-18.
The entire Board of Directors of AB Volvo is present on the occasion to celebrate the highly successful joint venture in India. VECV is today an exclusive manufacturing hub for the medium-duty Euro VI engines for the Volvo Group and is a fine example of the ?Make in India? initiative of the Government of India. These engines, manufactured at the manufacturing facility in Pithampur, are being exported to Europe and Asia to take care of the needs of the Volvo Group.
