On new role
Amarnath Ramachandran has been appointed President of LeeBoy India Construction Equipment effective March 1, 2015. He has been with LeeBoy India since its inception in 2010 and has held a wide range of leadership positions in the company including heading Product Engineering, IT, and Sales and Marketing. He has been responsible for leading the development of over eight products in a short span of five years and has, of late, been steering the LeeBoy brand expansion into markets of the Middle-East and Africa.
Amarnath possesses over 25 years of experience in two broad areas. The full vehicle product engineering for the mining and defence sectors, comprised drills, launching platforms and bridge layers. The other area was application engineering and sales of aggregates - primarily drivelines and control systems - from Walvoil, Danfoss, Dana Spicer and Kawasaki to major OEMs around the globe. Prior to joining LeeBoy, he was the Managing Director at Walvoil Fluid Power India and General Manager, Operations at Dantal Hydraulics.
