New leadership at Hyundai Construction Equipment India
Hyundai Construction Equipment India Pvt Ltd announced Eun Soo Lee as the new Managing Director for India operations with immediate effect. He succeeds JY Kim who will be taking over as the Global Head ? Direct Sales & Service and would be operating from the head office at Seoul, South Korea.
Lee has handled sales operations for Hyundai Construction Equipment, South Korea and also handled overseas sales operations at Turkey and Russia. India would be his third overseas assignment with enhanced responsibilities as the Managing Director.
On the new responsibilities, Lee said, ?I am delighted to be in India and take over charge for Hyundai CE business for managing overall operations. The company is well poised for growth and our aim is to achieve leadership position in Indian excavator market. We plan to achieve this goal through our strong and progressive partnership at all levels across the value chain and by offering quality and technologically advanced products to our customers.?
He further added, ?My focus will remain on managing the resources required to accelerate and execute our strategy in this high potential and growing construction equipment market. We?ll also focus on targeting some of the key regional pockets including newer applications, thereby expanding Hyundai?s reach across India through our wide ranging offerings from 8T to 120T class excavators. I would try to be a good facilitator and enabler to create the right environment for all the team members so that we can work as a team to achieve our objectives.?

Recently Hyundai Construction Equipment has launched SMART series of excavators, which are equipped with value-added features to improve operator?s comfort, fuel efficiency and reliability of machines.
