Murphy PowerView? intelligent displays form the central offering from Murphy. These equipment displays are fully programmable and can function as the intelligent central controller unit for most equipment logic. In display sizes from 2.5 to 7 inch, from monochrome to full colour, these displays are targeted at HMI and controller applications in mobile and stationary equipment. These are suitable for equipment with both mechanical and the latest Tier 4/Euro Stage IV electronic engines ensuring that the equipment is future safe. They are rugged, robust and maintain high standards of electrical, environmental and mechanical toughness that Murphy is known for. IP67 casing, a voltage range of 6-32 V DC and a working temperature range from -40 to +85oC makes them ?ANY Environment Displays?. Waterproof IP rated connectors moulded to the rear make them easy to integrate into the user?s equipment.

The Powerview? displays communicate on J1939 CANbus protocol and simultaneously take in direct I/O from analogue and digital inputs. The data received can then be shown its customer and application-specific graphical format designed easily using the Murphy PowerVision? Configuration Suite. Icons, round gauges, bar gauges, segment gauges and pop-ups in application and customer-specific layouts make the displays extremely user-friendly. Comprehensive multi-language text-based fault warnings and acknowledgment system keeps the operator aware of the health of the equipment/engine. Data is available in several formats and measurement units which can be changed by the user through the user settings.

Pop-ups for service reminders and an inbuilt previous fault memory system ensure that the personnel servicing the equipment can take informed decisions.

The Murphy range of cost-effective and modular I/O modules like XM500, SenderCAN and the MeCAN provide logical control capability to the customer?s equipment. Robust, waterproof and easy to integrate makes them a very popular choice among several OEMs.

Power management is increasingly becoming very important and when it is well done, it can play an important role in making the equipment easy to assemble, easy to service and also reduce wiring harness and component costs. The Powercore IX3212 ? Intelligent Expansion Power Module from Murphy does all this and more. With 20 inputs, a very robust casing, solid state relays, CAN communication and 12 high-current outputs that can switch up to 15A, each of these modules is a great asset to equipment integration.

The I/O modules and the Powercore IX3212 working around the power vision display units form a strong and reliable network of hardware and software using which the entire equipment can be integrated. This robust base is then used to integrate other components like pressure transmitters, inclinometers, rotary sensors, valve controllers, data loggers, and cameras which are also offered by Murphy as part of the complete solution it offers to its customers.
