IoT-based technologies has evolved in construction and mining equipment space with many such technologies helping the OEMs, contractors and machine operators to keep a control on the machines conveniently. Telematics is such a technology platform where stakeholders in the industry have complete control over the machine and fleet with respect to their every aspects. Telematics enables the operator, owner, dealer and the OEM be connected on the same network and track the machine. Globally, Telematics has evolved to such a stage that many OEMs now offer the feature as standard in their machines due to the growing demand. In India also, things are moving in this direction.
