BEML signs MoU with CSIR-NAL
BEML Limited, operating in three verticals -- defence and aerospace, mining and construction and rail and metro signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)-National Aeronautics Laboratory (NAL) to develop in the areas of advance composite and autoclaves, mini unmanned aerial vehicles, design and analysis of aircraft structure and systems.

BEML has also teamed up with NAL for the joint development of two-seater trainer aircraft through Technology of transfer (ToT). At the Aero Show, Bangalore, A K Srivastav, Director Defence and Aerospace exchanged the copies with R Venkatesh, Director Business Development, NAL in the presence of MV Rajasekhar, CMD, BEML.

According to the official news release, this contract will help BEML to increase its footprint in the aerospace sector.
