In the project, Shah leads the development of product portfolio (6 platforms) from 4 kW to 75 kW with launch of the portfolio within 15 months (October 2011 to December 2012).
He also leads the creation of?Evolution? brand as well as the promotion and communication through an integrated Web and print strategy, and leads complete P&L activities from incubation to growth.
As Leader - India & Africa for Power Tools, he restructured the sales team to change from channel orientation to customer orientation and aid in improved customer intimacy and engagement. He achieved more than 20 per cent year-on-year revenue growth in spite of tough market conditions through improved process re-engineering impacting on-time deliveries and service support. Shah expanded gross margins as compared to last year through implementation of strategic pricing module for the sales team. He is incubating growth in the African continent by growing the footprint of Ingersoll Rand Power Tools business in South and Sub-Saharan Africa.
